This week it isTe Wiki o Te Reo Maori - Maori Language Week! Learning Te Reo is part of our Paparore School kaupapa and this week it was our main focus. We have been learning about te akomanga (the classroom). We started each the day by saying the day and month in Maori, for panui (reading) we read Te Reo pukapuka (books), we learnt names for different classroom items, played Te Reo kahoots, did Maui and the Sun artwork and have been learning different tititorea using rakau which has been great fun!
