Today Te Whare Tui performed a Duffy Assembly called 'The Great Reading Adventure' to celebrate Book Week. Our main character Duffy (aka Arahia) loves reading but her sister Scruffy (aka Kaydee) thinks reading is soooooooo boring. To encourage Scruffy to read, Duffy and her friends take Scruffy on the 'Great Reading Adventure' through stories such as The Cat in the Hat, Maui and the Sun, comic book heroes, non-fiction books and the Harry Potter series. Hello Te Manga it's me Manaia. I loved your guy's assembly.The costumes and the humour was probably two of the most best thing's. All the act's were amazing and I liked how you finished off with that lovely song "I'm a Duffy kid" Lovely job. Nice picture's as well. I love book's but not all books my favourite one's are adventure. What's your favourite type of book's.
