Thank-You Yvette

Today we had a korero to thank Yvette for all her hard work in our class this year. Yvette has been an amazing teacher aide who sorts out all sorts of things for us! Mihi, Kaydee, Edmon, Zion and Atama spoke beautifully on behalf of our class.

Thank you Yvette, you are awesome and we hope you have a very Merry Xmas and a well deserved holiday!

Reindeer Xmas Bikkies

Today we made reindeer biscuits with Yvette. We used nutella, pretzels, M&M's and Arrowroot biscuits. They looked very cool and were super delicious! 

Mad About Science

Our second science session was fantastic! Today we had a go at four experiments; Soap Power, Foaming Cups, Elephant Toothpaste and Balloon Blow Up. The class had a fantastic time and had many thoughtful discussions about their;

Paddle Boarding Fun

Yesterday we went paddle boarding at Lake Ngatu with Sup Bro legends Scotty and Jo and the kids from Te Kauru and Te Puawai. 

It was a fantastic chance to get out of our classroom and enjoy walking to Lake Ngatu on such a beautiful day. Our whole class fit onto two boards. Scotty and Jo talked to the class about water safety and what they would be doing once they got out on the lake. On the way out into the middle of the lake the students paddled and sung waiata - ataahua! Then the students were able to bomb off the boards in the middle of the lake, what an experience.
